MAHI MAHI boat service TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Departure time is 30 minutes after boarding time. The boat will not wait if passengers are late.
2) Journey time is usually around 2 1/2 hours in good conditions, but can sometimes take longer due to weather conditions or other delays.
3) Boat operations reserve the right to cancel or modify the schedule in the interests of passenger safety, and will not be liable for compensation claims.
4) Alternative arrangements will be made where possible, with either no refund or part refund. Full refund will be given if alternative arrangements are not possible.
5) Schedules may be re-routed via Padang Bai due to poor weather conditions or other circumstances. Road transport to/from Padang Bai will be provided.
6) Full payment must be made prior to departure with a printed ticket as proof of payment and this ticket must be presented prior to boarding the vessel.
7) Passenger cancellation policy, no charge 2 weeks prior to departure.
8) Between 2 weeks and 1 week 50% of the ticket amount will be charged.
9) Between 1 week and 24 hours prior to departure 75% of the ticket amount will be charged.
10) No show or cancellations 24 hours prior to departure the full ticket amount will be charged.
11) Transport to/from Serangan harbour is not included; the passenger must arrange their own transport, metered taxis are available upon request with advanced notification.
Pick up/Drop off service is also available if notification and payment is made at the same time of ticket payment. Please ask the issuing agent for details and prices.
12) Where possible passengers can change the date of travel if notification is given at least 24 hours prior to the departure date but only at the discretion of boat operations.
13) The companies will not be held responsible for late departure, late arrival or cancellation due to weather; technical or any other difficulties encountered and will not be liable for any compensation claims for costs incurred. Therefore there will be no responsibilities taken for passengers who have any form of connecting transport or accommodation arranged if there are delays incurred.
14) Boat operations take every precaution to ensure safe travel and have a 100% safety record. However passengers travel at their own risk. Passenger insurance is not included and no responsibility is taken for any loss, accident, damage or injuries incurred during the trip.
15) Baggage allowance is 20kg per passenger; boat operations reserve the right to refuse excess baggage unless pre-arranged. Surf boards are limited to 2 per person with prior notice and must not exceed 2.3m in length.
